When Ed and Jeanine Veelenturf traveled through sun-drenched Portugal with their three sons in 2018, it became clear that this would remain no ordinary vacation. It was the beginning of an unforgettable adventure. The family became enchanted by the sun-drenched, distinctive country and returned the following years. During one of these trips through Portugal, Jeanine and Ed lost their hearts to an authentic farmhouse that had been transformed by a Dutch couple into a beautiful vacation destination. A place where everything was about tranquility, comfort, togetherness and conviviality. And so it began to itch for Ed and Jeanine. Wouldn't it be great if they could share their passion for hospitality and their love for Portuguese life in the same way? By chance, an old vineyard in the Algarve came their way.

The accompanying land breathed possibilities for an amazing vacation home. Ed and Jeanine decided to pursue their dream and put their heart and soul into this new adventure. After a long working day, they came to rest in their own old fisherman's cottage on the beach of Carvoeiro. A wonderful place where the evenings slipped by to the rhythm of the sea. Where nothing needed to be done except enjoy. Jeanine and Ed granted this Portuguese happiness of life to everyone. They lovingly transformed their small town house in Carvoeiro into a charming vacation home. They called it Town House. To let even more people enjoy this Mediterranean happiness, they added the Beach House and the Blue House.
